Satellite Championship BONUS
Surprise! If you're reading this hidden website, then the directors have revealed a secret Sunday satellite that's available as a last chance for a wildcard player to make the championship table of the event. If you have accidentally stumbled upon this page, then click here to visit this special event's primary page.
The final table taking place on Sunday, April 17th at 12:30pm will not contain only ten players. It will contain eleven players! If you are one of the unlucky players that doesn't make the top five spots in one of Saturday's satellites, then you are invited to battle for the wildcard spot on Sunday morning by participating in The Bonus. Read on for the details of this optional addition...
A third satellite will take place at Robbie's house on Sunday, 4/17/16 at 9:30am.
Only players that participated in at least one of Saturday's satellites are invited to enter The Bonus. The victor has full access to winning the big money on Sunday afternoon.
The buy-in for The Bonus is dependent on the number of players that register. The following buy-in guidelines will be followed:

To register for The Bonus, simply contact Robbie Cummings or Russ Pullen before 9:30am Sunday morning. A face-to-face commitment, phone call, or text is fine; one of the directors will add your name onto a hard-copy roster. If we haven't heard from you by 9:31am on 4/17, then you won't be allowed to play for the wildcard.
Starting stack for The Bonus is 5000 chips for all players. Only no-limit Texas hold'em will be played. Though the plan is to run twelve minute blinds until there is a winner, the directors reserve the right to speed up the blind clock to allow for the 12:30pm championship table to start on time. *This secret addition will alter the estimated pay scale located on the other website by increasing payouts.
No rakes/cuts are ever taken on the league's behalf. Players are never charged an additional fee outside of the normal buy-in. Tournaments are privately held. All players begin events with equal odds of winning. Players are prohibited from making "deals" during a tournament. The championship (Sunday) must be played until a single player has been deemed the winner. The Bonus satellite will also be played down to a single winner that may pay additional money to participate in the last tournament. Players must follow all etiquette, including never showing another player their hand or performing any other actions viewed as cheating. There is no player limit for The Satellite Championship. No string betting. Cards speak for themselves. Substitutes are not permitted at any time. Only CPL chips will be used during the tournament. Rebuys, bounties, wilds, special points, and/or antes are not a part of the event. All money submitted to The Bonus is non-refundable. Points are not a part of the tournament (CPL point totals are not affected whatsoever). Directors reserve the right to alter the colors and denominations of chips used during the event. If the dealer mistakenly reveals a burn card after the flop, all players shall be allowed to see the revealed card and the hand will continue. There is no cash payout to players that win or place in a satellite; the only reward is entry to the bigger tournament. Payouts occur as soon as the Sunday afternoon tournament ends (payout top two or three players only; pay-scale located on main event page). A player that entered zero satellites on Saturday is not invited to play in any tournaments on Sunday. Even if there was a theoretical tie for fifth place in one of the Saturday satellites, only ten total players can move on from Saturday to Sunday. In other words, the main table at 12:30pm will be composed of ten players from Saturday and one player from Sunday morning no matter what. The Satellite Championship is a two-day commitment. If a winning player is unexpectedly unable to play in the main tournament, that player CANNOT designate a new player or substitute to take his or her seat. If a player deliberately or excessively violates CPL policy, that player may be expelled from the tournament without refund.
